Hello everyone! As many of you probably
know, Johnny Calkins
will be retiring from State service this summer. Please make plans
to join
us at a party celebrating his many years of dedicated service to
California's
young adults.
The party will be held on Friday, July
17th
in Humboldt County at the Humboldt Bay Water District's Park 1 (also
known as
Pump Station 1). A map is attached. It will be potluck style,
starting at
5:30 PM, ending at 9:00 or slightly earlier (we need to be out of the
park by
dusk). Please bring a dish to share, and your own
drinks.
If you would like to contribute to a
gift
for Johnny, please send a check for $5.00 (payable to either me or Cindy
Porter) to my attention at the Fortuna Center. It would be appreciated if
your
donations could be received no later than Friday, July
13rd.
